As the uterus of a teenaged girl is not well developed this placenta surrounds the entire cervix leading to untimely uterine bleading and death of the mother. Other complications that may arise out of adolescent pregnancy are Pregnancy induced hypertension Premature delivery Anemia and Toxemia ( increase in blood pressure with the swelling of hands and legs and a high level of protien content in urine). Some of the research communities and state resources that are working on the prevention of adolescent pregancy are 1. The organization works both in US and other developing countries. It has lot of content available on it websites related to sex education and prevention of teenage pregnancy. Healthy teenaged network is another organization that works for sex related health problem for teenagers. It was established in 1979 and promotes better heath outcomes for adolescent and youths. It provides material for proper sexual health care and organizes conference on sexual health care every year. They carry out research on health of school children in US and guide them on risks related to teenage pregnancy.
