The patient displays persistent fretting, anxiety, and melancholy. This encounter sheds light on how stress and anxiety affect adolescent behavior. If I had another chance to work with the patient, I would ask the teacher for more details to understand better the patient’s behavior, attitude, and academic achievement at school. Working with adolescents is challenging. The patient is 16 and profoundly understands his health and body. He can provide insightful, reliable answers for the assessment.
