For this Module Pre-Assessment, create a rough draft of the slides for your presentation that describe the organization’s current marketing plan as a component of its strategic plan including the similarities and differences between the plans and an explanation of the competitive landscape in which the organization operates its business and markets its products or services. While a voice-over analysis is required for the Final Assessment, you do not need to include it for the Pre-Assessment.

The Module Pre-Assessment is your opportunity to practice applying module content before submitting the final Competency Assessment. In the Final Assessment, you will be asked to recommend a marketing strategy based on the consultative review you conducted of the market position for a healthcare organization you select.

To prepare for your Final Assessment, reflect on the information you have researched and assessed about the current marketing position of the organization you selected. Then, with this information in mind, think about a marketing strategy you might recommend to address challenges the organization may face as a result of recent events in relation to the current political, economic, and diverse social climate in which the organization operates.

For this Module Pre-Assessment, create a rough draft of the slides for your presentation that recommend a marketing strategy to address challenges the organization may face as a result of recent events in relation to the current political, economic, and diverse social climate in which the organization operates including the rationale for your recommendation.

Be sure to review the Final Assessment Instructions for more details and include references to the resources used to support your recommendation. While a voice-over analysis is required for the Final Assessment, you do not need to include it for the Pre-Assessment.

Before submitting your Assessment, carefully review the rubric. This is the same rubric the assessor will use to evaluate your submission and it provides detailed criteria describing how to achieve or master the Competency. For your Final Assessment, you will conduct a consultative review of a healthcare organization you select. In your review, you will assess the marketing position of the healthcare organization and recommend marketing strategies to address any issues you discover during your review.

Create a 10- to 15-slide presentation with voice-over analysis, speaker notes, and reference slides that:
