Each student will research one of the works assigned by one of the writers covered in class. The essay may include historical and cultural context, influences among writers, analysis of style/literary theories, or critical reception(past and current) of the work. The essay should be written, documented. (focusing on their works, not their lives) the reader i would like to write about is Langston Hughes the poet and his writing style and making connections between other authors that are similar to him as well.
