            Effective interview and communication techniques are necessary when dealing with pediatric patients. In this circumstance, the communication should focus on both the child and the caregiver since a pre-school patient will not provide a comprehensive and complete medical history on their own, for instance, birth history. Secondly, it is vital to observe the relationship between the caregiver and the child. The Ages and Stages Questionnaire is easy and quick to interpret while dealing with children with environmental and biological factors.             Children enjoy it when people get down to their level and play with them. Hence, their fears and anxiety are eased (Ball et al., 2019).
