Orban et al., (2020) explain that health professional education accreditation standards influence institutional practice and policy to ensure high quality for those they serve. Achieving the highest standards by prohibiting academic corruption such as plagiarism is essential. Academic integrity is a key factor in accreditation (Mattar, 2021).
